The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences seamlessly integrates diverse fields into a unified academic entity with a central focus on advancing research and nurturing the education of veterinary and graduate students. Additionally, we collaborate closely with the Veterinary Medical Center to deliver top-tier care to both our clients and patients.

Dedicated to the enhancement of animal health and overall well-being, the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences is steadfast in its pursuit of excellence in clinical practice, robust exploration across fundamental, applied, and translational research domains, and the implementation of innovative interdisciplinary pedagogy within veterinary medical and post-professional programs such as internships, residencies, and graduate studies.

Faculty members in the department teach our veterinary students in a wide variety of fields and disciplines through innovative interdisciplinary teaching in the veterinary medical and post-professional internships, residencies and graduate programs. We are committed to providing excellent career development and mentoring programs to nurture professional and personal success and satisfaction.

Services

Our faculty and board-certified specialists offer expertise in over 20 different specialties and partner with the Veterinary Medical Center to provide services ranging from preventative care to the most complex surgical procedures veterinary medicine has to offer. We have specialists in Anesthesiology, Behavioral Medicine, Cardiology, Dermatology, Emergency Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Theriogenology.
