Grants Support Office

The Grants Support Office provides support and resources for college researchers through essential pre- and post-award activities.

Grant Proposals and Submissions

• Coordinates proposal submission with the Office of Sponsored Programs.
• Assists with reviewing and generating budget (developing quote/estimate for industry sponsors).
• Assists with boilerplating – Face Page, Resources, Biographical Sketches, Current & Pending Support, etc.
• Initiates or coordinates submission of Authorization to Seek Off-Campus Funds (ePA-005)
• Initiates proposal using Cayuse, ProposalCentral, or other interfaces for electronic submission.

• Sponsored Program Awards:
  • Grants are a funding instrument through which the sponsor is a patron of the project.
  • Cooperative Agreements imply substantive mutual interaction between the sponsor and the award recipient.
  • Contracts are the vehicle for procurement of property or services (e.g., drug development, research & development services, evaluation, training, etc.).
• Assists investigators with award management via Workday or PI Portal, and provides consultation and training.
• Assists with progress reporting (RPPR, REEport, ezFedGrants, etc.).
• Assists with salary costing allocations and time & effort reporting.
