Veterinary Clinical Sciences Visiting Program

The goal of the Visiting Program is to provide visitors with in-depth exposure to specialty areas in veterinary medicine and provide academic growth for participants. In exchange, visitors enrich our clinical programs and research labs and help other institutions meet specific programmatic needs. Visitors provide opportunities for collaboration and sharing of ideas in teaching, clinics, and research.  Hands-on clinical experience is prohibited for our visitors due to compliance with Ohio Law, state licensure requirements, and University liability insurance coverage. However, visitors are permitted and encouraged to observe our faculty and students in all clinical activities, including patient exams, rounds, special procedures, and surgeries.

Fees and Required Documents

The standard visitor fees are listed below. There is an additional fee of  $450 (USD) for all international visitors in need of a visa. Payments are due upon acceptance into the visitor program, and a visit may be cancelled if payments have not been received 30 days prior to a scheduled visit. Online payment can be made here: https://vet.osu.edu/clinical-sciences/visiting-payment.
