Continuing Education Course Proposal Form


All Continuing Education courses that take place on or off-site associated with the College of Veterinary Medicine need to be submitted. Completed proposal forms should be submitted at initial discussion of potential CE course or within a minimum of 6-8 months prior to the suggested course date for approval consideration by the Continuing Education Office. Please complete to the best of your ability and the CE Office will reach out with further questions if necessary. Recurring events only need to be submitted once. 

Criteria for approval:

The purpose of the Continuing Education Office review is to assess the feasibility and potential success of a proposed Continuing Education course. The questions below are intended to aid the course organizer in shaping the course outline. The key factors identified by the Continuing Education Office as critical to an approved course are 1) internal faculty support, 2) external interest, 3) projected profitability and budget, and 4) advancement of college goals.

If the course you are interested organizing does not fit into the services levels listed above, please move forward with completing the course proposal and make note of this in the "additional comments" section. We want to partner with you and look forward to supporting your course!
