The anesthesia and perioperative pain management service at the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) of The Ohio State University provides comprehensive anesthetic and pain management for all species with concentration on the common domestic species.

The Animal Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine Service operates under the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences within the Clinical Hematology/Oncology Service and the Veterinary Medical Center.

What is physical rehabilitation?

The Diagnostic Imaging Service provides complete diagnostic imaging services (radiology) to all hospital patients and teleradiology and a mobile ultrasound service to referring veterinarians. Our professional faculty and staff offer excellent, timely service to our veterinary patients and their clinicians.

The mission of Honoring the Bond is to recognize and honor the human-animal bond by providing support to animal owners. Honoring the Bond services are available, at no cost, to clients of the Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center.

Our pharmacy fills prescriptions for registered clients of the medical center. We fill inpatient and outpatient orders for all companion (small), farm and equine animal patients of the hospital.
