A Message From Arcie Griffin, the President of the Ohio State Alumni Association

"It has been a challenging year for Ohio State football.
The team, administration, and our great alumni and fans have experienced some trying times as we've dealt with issues involving our program. We all take a great deal of pride in Ohio State football, and it's disappointing when it doesn’t live up to the lofty expectations that have been established, whether we are talking about on- or off-field standards..."

Dear Alumnus:
We invite you to attend The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine Annual Alumni Reunion Weekend September 9-11, 2011. In an effort to conserve resources we are not producing a brochure this year. All the information you need is included in this letter and a copy of the agenda is posted on our website here.
We are hosting a variety of events to welcome you back to campus. We begin the weekend on Friday with the fifth annual Alumni Reunion Weekend Continuing Education Conference. The conference will include updates on the newest diagnostics and treatments from expert faculty and a keynote presentation by Dr. Kent H. Hoblet, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. Our traditional class reunions, dinner, and auctions will be held that evening at the Hilton Columbus at Easton Town Center. Please consider donating an auction item. A list of auction items and an auction donation form is listed at http://vet.osu.edu/alumni/2011-annual-auction. On Saturday, events include the Alumni Society Annual Meeting and Board Meeting, Dean Lonnie J. King’s “State ofthe College” address, a brunch tailgate, and the Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Toledo Rockets football game at noon. Please consider sponsoring a student to attend the dinner on Friday or the brunch on Saturday. Attire for the entire weekend is Buckeye casual.
We encourage you to register online for Alumni Reunion Weekend events.
