Dr. Rustin Moore, dean and Ruth Stanton Chair in Veterinary Medicine, was inducted into the International Equine Veterinarian Hall of Fame on Feb. 4 at the 13th annual International Hoof-Care Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Fourth-year student Luke Morrow was presented with the Simmons Educational Fund Business Aptitude Award on Jan. 17. Each year, the SEF chooses one student per veterinary school for their business skills, and Morrow was named the overall national winner.
The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture collaborated with the college to hold a training session on antimicrobial use and resistance in agriculture. The college was proud to host keynote speakers from the USDA, CDC and FDA.
