COVID-19 Safety Precautions
Face masks are encouraged when visiting the Veterinary Medical Center hospitals.
For customers who are immunocompromised, ill, dropping off injured pets or otherwise unable to enter the clinic, curbside drop-off service will be made available. We ask that you please notify us prior to your scheduled appointment so that we may make appropriate arrangements and provide you with specific information.
During Your Visit
Upon entering the lobby, please proceed to the reception desk to register. If all customer service representatives are busy, please wait in line with appropriate physical distancing for everyone's safety.
- Once registered, please take a seat in our lobby area until a clinical team member escorts you to an exam room.

Once seated in an exam room, a clinical team member will meet you to take a brief history of your pet.

Exam rooms are disinfected after every visit.

Hand sanitizers are available throughout the areas.

After taking a brief history, agreeing upon goals of your visit and discusssing a treatment plan, the clinical team member will take your pet back to the treatment area and you are welcome to wait in our lobby or in your vehicle, depending on what is most comfortable for you.

While you wait, team members will be in contact regulary to provide the best care for your pet. You will be notified when your pet is available to be discharged. Appointments typically last for 30 minutes.

When your pet is ready for discharge, the fourth-year (graduating) student and faculty veterinarian will meet you to discuss the details of the visit, answer questions, and review discharge instructions.

Upon discharge, please stop at the front desk so we may collect payment for the visit.

After payment is complete, a clinical team member will bring your pet to you and assist with getting them into your vehicle if needed.
