Meet JoJo, a pot-belly pig "on a roll"

Meet JoJo! She is a potbellied pig that suffered a ruptured disc, and thanks to veterinarians at the Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center (VMC), she is making a great recovery from surgery - and using a wheeled cart to get around. Her care started with Dr. Caroline Lodge, resident in Farm Animal Medicine, who provided emergency care when JoJo came to the VMC on a recent Sunday. Dr. Lodge contacted a team from radiology who provided diagnostic images, and then Dr. Laurie Cook, neurosurgeon, who offered surgical expertise in this unusual case. Local ABC affiliate Channel 6 covered her story, which was then picked up by several other ABC affiliates, as well as Good Morning America.
