Dr. Matt Brokken is a graduate of University of Flordia College of Veterinary Medicine. After graudation in 2003, he went on to do The Ohio State University Equine Field Service intership where he fell in love with Ohio. Wanting to pursure a further education he did a surgery residency at Washington State University which he completed in 2007. As a board certified surgeon he worked as a clincial professor at the University of Flordia and staff surgeon at a private practice in Cleveland until he returned to Ohio State to become head of the Equine Field Service. His clinical interests include lameness and diagnostic imaging, including MRI, radiology, and ultrasonography. In his free time he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.

Dr. Yardley received his DVM from Tufts University in 2006. Following graduation, he completed a rotating internship in surgery, anesthesia, and field service at Ferguson, Hammock and BonenClark Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Yardley began his career working in private practice and most recently was the Head of the Equine Division and the Website and Social Media Director for a mixed animal practice in Millersport, Ohio. His true passion lies in equine medicine as he enjoys helping performance horses compete at their full potential and helping geriatric horses have a long and healthy life.

Dr. Chiero received her BA in Biology from Cedarville University in 2007 and her DVM from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She went on to complete an equine internship at Kendall Road Equine Hospital in Elgin, IL in 2012. Dr. Chiero returned to Columbus in 2012 and worked in small animal practice before joining the Ohio State Equine Field Service in 2013. Dr. Chieros interests are in general ambulatory medicine, dentistry, and lameness.
