For VMC Customers
Plan for Travel Delays on May 27
From approximately 8 a.m. on May 27 to 1 a.m. on May 28, Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) customers should be prepared to verbally inform officers of their veterinary emergency so that they may access the VMC. Customers may be asked to put on their hazard lights (4-way flashers) when they are on campus. Whenever possible, customers should call the hospital ahead of their arrival and provide their vehicle description and estimated time of arrival. All are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic officials in this area.
If you experience difficulty in getting to the VMC due to inability to be directed around roadblocks, please call The Ohio State University Department of Public Safety at 614-292-2121. Share your location, your make, model, year of your car and the license plate number.

Note: John Herrick Drive is closed at Vernon L Tharp Street through late August, 2023.
From 315 Northbound
Take 315 North to the Lane Avenue exit.
Turn RIGHT onto Lane Ave.
At the first light, turn RIGHT on Fyffe and move to the left lane. Follow to the light at Woody Hayes and turn LEFT.
Follow Woody Hayes to the first street on the RIGHT (Coffey Road) and turn RIGHT onto Coffey Road.
Follow Coffey Road to the first stop sign at Vernon L Tharp St. Turn RIGHT onto Vernon L Tharp Street and follow beyond the Hospital for Companion Animals to the entrance on the LEFT.
From 315 Southbound
Exit 315 southbound at Lane Avenue. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Lane Avenue eastbound.
At the second light, turn RIGHT on Fyffe and move into the left lane. Follow to the stoplight at Woody Hayes and turn LEFT.
Follow Woody Hayes to the first street (Coffey Road) and turn RIGHT onto Coffey Rd.
Follow Coffey Road to the first stop sign at Vernon L Tharp St. Turn RIGHT onto Vernon L Tharp Street and follow beyond the Hospital for Companion Animals to the entrance on the LEFT.
