What to Expect - VMC Dublin Urgent Care Service

In response to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic, the Veterinary Medical Center has enacted safety measures in alignment with the recommendations of our state and federal health officials. Please see the information below for details on our plan to protect our customers, clinicians and staff.

Please note, only one owner may accompany pets into the Veterinary Medical Center-Dublin. Visitors will not be permitted to remain in the hospital lobby for an extended period. Exceptions will be made with regard to euthanasia.

Prior to Entering the Hospital for Companion Animals

As an added precaution before entering the hospital lobby, we ask that you please use hand sanitizer, provided in our entryway, and switch out cloth masks for disposable medical face masks which are begin provided for you upon entry.

We will not allow access to the VMC Urgent Care service without a disposable facemask.

For customers who are immunocompromised, ill, dropping off injured pets or otherwise unable to enter the hospital, curbside drop-off service will be made available. We ask that you please notify us prior to your scheduled appointment so that we may make appropriate arrangements and provide you with specific information.

What to Expect During Your Visit

    • All communication during your pet’s exam, payment and discharge paperwork will be conducted via the phone.

    • Please wait in your car in our client parking lot. You will be notified when your pet is available to be discharged.

    • A member of the Client Services team will call you to collect payment for the visit.

    • After payment is complete, please pull up outside the main entrance to the hospital and remain in your vehicle.
