Medical masks (not cloth) are still required upon entry into all VMC Hospitals until further notice. For reasons behind this decision, please read more here.
Veterinary Urgent Care
If your dog or cat experiences a serious or traumatic medical emergency during normal business hours, we suggest you call your family veterinarian first. If they are closed or advise you to visit the Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center emergency room, please call 614-292-3551 or drive to our Hospital for Companion Animals at 601 Vernon L Tharp St., Columbus, OH 43210.
For after hour, non-trauma, non-serious, non-life threatening emergencies, you may visit our Urgent Care service located at 5020 Bradenton Avenue, Dublin, OH 43017. You do not need an appointment and we are open evenings, weekends and holidays. It is always a good idea to call prior to arrival if you are able – 614.889.8070.
We do not provide hospitalization or overnight stays.
Our care hours are:
Monday - Friday: 4:00pm - 11:00 pm
Saturday-Sunday- Holidays: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm
Open every day as an extension of your primary care veterinarian.
Specialty and Referral Services
After your veterinarian gives you a referral to the VMC at Dublin, please call 614.889.8070 to schedule an appointment. To help us prepare for the first visit, your veterinarian will send over related medical records and you may be asked to bring X-rays or other test results along with your pet.
Following a complete physical examination, you will be presented with a treatment plan for your pet, which may include additional diagnostic tests. A thorough explanation of all treatment options will always be provided with our recommendations. Rest assured we will involve your family veterinarian as part of your pet’s health care team while your beloved companion is in our care. We are committed to help guide you through the process and empower you to make decisions that are right for your pet. We are caregivers and animal lovers too.
All urgent care and speciatly care fees are due at the time of service. If an overnight stay is necessary (i.e. specialty orthopedice surgery services), a payment of 75% of the high end of the estimated fees will need to be made prior to the stay. We accept cash, checks, Care Credit and Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Client financing is available for qualified pet owners through an independent company, Care Credit.
For more information on any of our services, please ask your family veterinarian or give us a call.
