Water main break causes changes to companion hospital access and parking

Due to a water main break outside the front entrance to the Hummel-Trueman Hospital for Companion Animals, critical emergency drive up access and animal drop offs for those needing extra assistance have been temporarily relocated to the Hospital for Farm Animals, directly located to the right of the companion animal hospital. Please use the driveway entrance/exit to the Hospital for Farm Animals where you'll find short-term, drop-off parking spaces.

If at all possible, in the event of an emergency, please call ahead to (614) 292-3551, so that we may have a team meet you at the Hospital for Farm Animals entrance.

For clients who have appointments, please use the parking areas designated as VMC client parking directly across the street from the Companion Animal Hospital entrance on Vernon L Tharp St. Signage identifies the areas.

During weekdays, our parking lot attendant is available to assist you. During evenings and weekends, please visit the companion animal hospital front desk to receive a parking pass to place in your vehicle. Please use the sidewalk on the left-hand side of the hospital entrance to access the hospital.

Behavior appointments may prefer to use the pedestrian walkway to the right of the companion animal main entrance, between the Hospital for Companion Animals and the Hospital for Farm Animals.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We will provide an update when we have more information.
