The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center Pharmacy is now operating in a brand new, expanded space, complete with a consult and pick-up window, accessible from the Hospital for Companion Animals lobby.

"It’s an exciting change for clients," said Megan Flanigan, PharmD, pharmacy manager. “Clients can now directly access the pharmacy to get their medications and interact with the pharmacy staff,” she said. "The pharmacy also has a window facing the secure inner portion of the hospital where VMC team members can retrieve inpatient medications."

The pharmacy includes four full-time pharmacists — three of whom are veterinary pharmacy trained — three part-time pharmacists, and six technicians.

“Our team has grown to fill patient needs, especially since we’re simultaneously expanding to serve chemotherapy and other hospital patients,” Flanigan said.
