Title: The Dairy Cattle Welfare Symposium: Intersection of Best Practices and Sustainability
The Ohio Dairy Health and Management Certificate Program (ODHMCP) will once again be offered beginning in the Fall of 2019. The overall program will consist of 10 modules of two full days each over the course of three years. The OHMCP will be focused on developing a system-in-place for modern dairy herds of any sizes with strong emphasis on prevention and a process of continuous improvement. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! How to remain competitive is the “big” question for dairy operations, which includes knowing the consumer expectations.
