Dr. Armando Hoet, Associate Professor and Director of the Veterinary Public Health (VPH) Program in the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine at The Ohio State University, led a group of 20 individuals to the Los Lagos of Southern Chile in November 2015 for his annual Farm to Table Program: Exporting Food Systems in Latin America. This is the eighth year of this program, which was formed in 2007 as a combined effort with University of Minnesota Veterinary Public Health Program. Previous countries they have visited include Costa Rica, Uruguay and Thailand with Argentina as a possible destination for the future.
