Drs. Habing & Schuenemann awarded NIFA-USDA grant for research

Greg Habing, DVM, MS, PhD, Assistant Professor in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and Gustavo Schuenemann, DVM, MS, PhD, Associate Professor in Veterinary Preventive Medicine, along with collaborators from University of California-Davis have received a four-year, $1.17 million grant from the National Institute of Food & Agriculture in the United States Deparmtent of Agriculture. This is to support their project entitled “Antimicrobials used for treatment of disease: Developing methods to reduce the use of critically”. Dr. Habing is serving as the pricipical investigator and Dr. Schuenemann as the co-investigator on this research project, which will run through 2022.
