Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Susan Johnson, was recognized by Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine for her "distinguished career as a clinician, scientist, teacher and mentor."
Our very own Dr. Suzanne Tomasi is the primary author of the study and Dr. Jason Stull is co-author. The study looked at calls to the COPC for pediatric exposures to medications intended for pets from January 1999 through December 2013.
To commemorate Ohio State's Sesquicentennial, the Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society, the Cheer and Brutus Alumni Society, and the Men's Glee Club Alumni Society each each ordered 150 masks from a local small business to be donated to COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) for use by people who rely on public transportation.

Dean Lonnie King named Ohio's Veterinarian of the Year
Dr. Lonnie King was honored as the 2014 Veterinarian of the Year at the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association's annual Midwest Veterinary Conference. Dean of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. King received the Association's highest honor in recognition of his contributions to veterinary medicine spanning more than four decades.
