Additional Counseling Services

Main Campus Mental Health Providers:

  • Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS) is located on central campus in the Younkin Success Center and in offices located at Lincoln Tower (both are walkable from the vet campus). CCS may schedule with you directly or can triage your call and make referrals to other providers as needed. CCS is also available for after-hours consulting.  The first 10 free visits to CCS are free and are not dependent upon your insurance coverage.  Contact 614-292-5766 to schedule or inquire about services or visit https://ccs.osu.edu/.
  • The OSU Couple and Family Therapy clinic serves individuals, couples and families. The clinic does not accept insurance. They operate on a sliding fee scale, so ability to pay should not deter you from seeking their services. OSU students pay as little as $10.00 per session, which is less than many insurance co-pays.  The CFT Clinic can be reached at 614-292-3671 or https://cftc.ehe.osu.edu/.
  • For OSU Employees: Contact the Employee Assistance Program 1-800-678-6265 or https://hr.osu.edu/benefits/eap/.

OFF Campus Mental Health Providers

The number of providers in Columbus and the surrounding area are too numerous to list here.  Below is a link to a list of providers that can be used as a starting point.  If you have insurance, you may contact your insurance company directly for a list of providers who accept your insurance plan.  Suggestions for specific counselors are provided on a referral basis only.

If you are interested in a specific referral, please schedule an individual consultation session with Annie Abraham or Katie Reid to discuss your unique situation.  It can be confusing and overwhelming to pick a community provider.  Please let us know if we can help.
