This Clinical Oncology rotation is a very busy rotation. We see many new cases every day and at least 30 rechecks per week. We have morning and afternoon rounds every day. Students are required to be at the hospital 7:30am to 5:30pm when they have active cases.
  • CSU has computers that externs are able to use.
  • Our visitors are permitted to get into our medical records during their stay.
  • Topic rounds are three times per week.
  • Seminars are available for all to attend.
Students are expected to attend morning and afternoon daily rounds. Team work is stressed during the elective. Clear communications guidelines are established during orientation.
At least 40 hours per week the student will be supervised by veterinarians.
