small animal medicine and surgery--AAHA-certified general pet practice
This is a two clinic, three doctor AAHA-certified practice. We see appointments every morning and afternoon. We do surgeries and dentistry mid-day. We utilize certified veterinary technicians. We are very client-oriented in that time is spent discussing the diagnostic plan, rule outs, and possible therapies with client input. Each pet is closely followed until the problem is resolved. A two-week rotation should allow the student to experience a multitude of illnesses from beginning to resolution.
Dr. Rosenberry has 20 years experience in general pet practice, with a special interest in feline medicine and surgery. Dr. Smith has 35 years experience in general pet practice including exotics and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Galaher has 7 years experience with a concentration in canine reproduction. We all three consult with one another. Nearby, board certified specialists are available for consult. (oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, critical care, internal medicine, surgery)
We also do a lot of work for local animal shelters and humane societies (including feral cats) which tend to bring in unusual diseases and injuries.
