John Lyman Jr. Award for Clinical Teaching Excellence

This award is given in recognition of sustained excellence in providing a student-centered environment for clinical education exemplifying compassion, innovation, enthusiasm, and ethics in veterinary medicine. The award was established in 2004 by Ron Lyman, class of 1977, to honor his father, Dr. John Lyman Jr. Faculty members who are eligible for this award are those who are part of the teaching teams for the courses of the fourth year of the curriculum and who take part in the student evaluation of teaching.
