Dr. Hale Awarded Collaborative Grant for Research

Vanessa Hale, MAT, DVM, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Departmtent of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, has been awarded a two-year, $48,432 collaborative grant to support 50% of a postdoctoral position from the College of Public Health’s Collaborative Postdoctoral Researchers Program. The project is entitled “Microbiome development in infants: An ecocultural perspective,” and additional faculty collaborators include: Dr. Jiyoung Lee, Professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences, and Dr. Barbara Piperata, Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology.
