Buckeye Voices: ADA Celebrates 25 Years

Scott Lissner, Ohio State’s ADA coordinator, talks about how the Americans with Disabilities Act changed the lives of a legally shunned minority. What used to be applied merely to folks in wheelchairs or who were blind, the ADA has become a civil rights law with even broader protections. But even more legislation is going to be necessary to remove barriers to technology and increase accessibility in employment, housing and more.
