Digital Cytology Workshop for Practitioners

The workshop will provide 2.5 hours of CE credit and the required training to utilize the Cytology Services at the Veterinary Medical Center.

Digital cytology is fast becoming a mechanism for rapid cytology results. The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine is now offering digital cytology services via smart phone technology to referring veterinarians. Before utilizing this service, veterinarians will be required to train for taking quality digital cytology photos.

At this workshop, you will learn:

--how to identify diagnostic regions of cytology smears

--how to photograph diagnostic regions of cytology smears with a smart phone

--how to ensure that your digital photograph is of diagnostic quality

This workshop will be lead by Ohio State CVM faculty. 

There are four workshop timeslots available:

• March 17th & 18th

  • 9:00 - 11:30 am

  • OR

  • 1:00 -  3:30 pm
