The Ohio State University Alumni Association

Recognizing outstanding alumni is one way the university's Alumni Association shows its commitment to make Ohio State stronger. Honorees represent just a few of the thousands of alumni who contribute in countless ways to their fellow alumni, to the university, to their communities, to their professions and areas of interest, and to humankind.

Professional Achievement Award

The Alumni Professional Achievement Award is presented to alumni who have superb records of distinguished career accomplishments and who have made outstanding contributions to their professions. No more than three individuals will be selected in any one year for this award. College of Veterinary Medicine alumni who have received this award include:

The college honors outstanding alumni with two types of awards each year: the Distinguished Alumni Awards and the Alumni Society Recognition Awards. Learn more about the awards and see past recipients.

Robert M. Duncan Alumni Citizenship Award

Given to alumni who have distinguished themselves through service to humanity and who best exemplify the university's motto, "Education for Citizenship."  Nominees will have performed significant voluntary service to their communities beyond the call of business or professional duty.

Presented to alumni who have superb records of career accomplishments and made outstanding professional contributions.
