Creating a healthier world for animals

As part of The Ohio State College of Veterinary medicine, The Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center veterinarians have access to the most advanced technology, discoveries and programs available worldwide to help diagnose and treat dogs, cats, equine and farm animals. Working in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Wexner Medical Center, The James Cancer Center, the Columbus Zoo and the Wilds , as well as six other health sciences colleges on the Ohio State campus – the only University to have 7 health sciences colleges on one campus – the VMC clinicians are able to provide the most comprehensive care solutions available today.

The Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center is one of the largest, comprehensive veterinary hospitals in the world, with more than 33,00 animal patient visits each year – most of whom are referred by primary care veterinarians who partner with specialists at Ohio State to diagnose and treat difficult or complicated cases.  The VMC is a comprehensive referral center comprised of the Hospital for Companion Animals, the Hospital for Farm Animals, the Galbreath Equine Center and the Veterinary Medical Center-Dublin.
