Molecular & Cellular Biology: Rami Doueiri, for his poster presentation, "Identification of the Functional Domains and Cellular Binding Partners of Human T-Cell Leukemia Virus Type 2 p98 Protein." His mentor is Dr. Patrick Green of the Department of Veterinary Biosciences.

Structure/Function: Eason Hildreth, for his poster presentation, "Effects of Deletion of the Mid-Region, Nuclear Localization Sequence (NLS), and C-Terminus of Parathyroid Hormone-Related Protein (PTHrP) on the Osteogenic, Adipogenic, Chondrogenic, and Myogenic Differentiation of Murine Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC)." His mentors are Dr. Thomas Rosol and Ramiro Toribio of the Departments of Veterinary Biosciences and Veterinary Clinical Sciences.

Structure/Function: Lyn Wancket, for her poster presenation, "Protective Effects fo MAPK Phosphatase 1 (MKP-1) during Acute Acetaminophen Toxicity." Her mentor is Dr. Yusen Liu of the Department of Veterinary Biosciences and the Center for Perinatal Research, The Research Institute at Nationwhide Children's Hospital.

Epidemiology & Applied Research: Beth Chaffee, for her poster presentation, "An Orthopedic Xenograft Model of Osteosarcoma with Metastasis." Her mentor is Dr. Matthew Allen of the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences.

Immunology and Infectious Diseases: Dhohyung Kim, for his poster presentation, "Overcoming Maternal Antibody Inhibition in Measles Vaccination using a Recombinant Newcastle Disease Virus Expressing Measles Virus Hemagglutinin." His mentor is Dr. Stefan Niewiesk of the Department of Veterinary Biosciences.

Molecular and Cellular Biology: Joelle Fenger, for her poster presentation, "MicroRNA Expression profiles in Benign and Aggressive Canine Mast Cell Tumors." Her mentors are Drs. Bill Kisseberth and Cheryl London of the Departments of Veterinary Clinical Sciences and Veterinary Biosciences.

Structure/Function: Blake E. Hildreth III, for his poster presentation, "Parathyroid Hormone-Related Protein Increases Bone Formation in vitro." His mentors are Drs. Tom Rosol and Ramiro Toribio of the Department of Veterinary Biosciences and Veterinary Clinical Sciences.

Clinical Research: Rosa Barsnick for her poster presentation, "Hormones of Energy Metabolism in Septic Foals: Associations between Insulin, Glucagon, Leptin, Adiponectin, Ghrelin and Growth Hormone." Her mentor is Dr. Ramiro Toribio of the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences.

Epidemiology and Applied Research: Melanie Abley, for her poster presentation, "Phenotyping of Campylobacter coli in Pigs from Farm to Fork." Her mentor is Dr. Tom Wittum of the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine.
