A team from The Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital, including alumnus Dr. Don Corsmeier, was announced the winner of the 2015 CLARITY Undiagnosed Challenge, in which teams of experts employ genomics to solve featured medical cases.
LaToiya Templeton, fourth-year student, was presented with the Student Recognition Award by The Ohio State University Board of Trustees on Nov. 6. The award is given to just two professional students per year.
Templeton grew up in a neighborhood located in the south side of Chicago, and as first generation college student, she was determined not to let any barrier or adversity keep her from her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
