The CVM Global Health Programs developed a policy guideline professional and graduate students must follow when conducting global activities while enrolled within the college. This policy is designed to:
- Facilitate the international experiences of CVM students by providing them with current and timely information regarding how to maintain their personal safety and security while traveling abroad;
- Assist successful planning by faculty and staff who lead international activities;
- Minimize liability to the College and its representatives, and
- Promote the College scholarly and outreach missions.
Below is the College global policy recently vetted by the college deans and chairs. This policy has NOT yet been approved by the college executive body. However, the Office of Global Health Programs advises all students to voluntarily follow these guidelines and communicate with faculty advisors and GHP contact personnel to make sure your international experience will be successful.
