Associate Veterinarians and special expertise available

  • 5 Internal Medicine specialists
  • 2 Surgeon specialists 1 Critical Care specialist
  • 3 Radiologists 2 Critical Care residents
  • 1 Internship trained emergency doctor
  • 4 General Practitioners (including one Board certified in Canine and Feline Practice)
  • 8 current Rotating Medicine and Surgery Interns
  • 1 Surgery Intern

Educational Resources

  • The hospital has a full library with all relevent veterinary and human medical textbooks as well as both veterinary and human medical journals.
  • Case based rounds are held daily.
  • Once weekly, there are two hours of teaching rounds for our interns. These include lectures, morbidity and mortality rounds, Grand rounds, Journal Club and radiology rounds.

Student Supervision

We are a 24 hour hospital that is open 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Externs are assigned to an 8 hour shift each day during their rotation. The internal medicine, general practice, and emergency services see appointments 7 days per week.
