College of Veterinary Medicine

We will provide equine and small animal medical experiences that include: history taking, medical record keeping, restraint, venipuncture, vaccines, laboratory procedures, prescription preparation, assisting with soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, ultrsonography, radiographic technique and interpretation, dental radiographs and prophylaxis, equine reproduction, and lameness evaluation.

Mutual respect, overall wanting to learn and be involved and capable of entry level exam and treatment responsibilities.

Approximately 9 hours per day-5 days per week the student will have access to our practice's veterinarians
