Veazie Veterinary Clinic
Description
The student will shadow one of three veterinarians, assist in history taking, physical exam, assessment and diagnostic plans. The student will also be coached in client communication, staff interpersonal relations, electronic medical records, efficient use of staff, time management as it effects production based compensation.

Associate Veterinarians and special expertise available
We perform abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, advanced reproduction including freezing and shipping donor semen. We perform advanced orthopedic, soft tissue, thoracic and abdominal surgery. We have an active canine rehabilitation program, perform advanced dentistry including endodontics. One of our doctors devotes a significant proportion of his practice to feline medicine. Two of us perform behavior consultations.
Educational Resources
We actively utilize VIN and our library and encourage students to perform research relative to cases we are actively treating.

Student Supervision
Students are directly supervised by a veterinarian. They are encouraged to take histories, perform physical exams, evaluate lab work and radiographs and develop their own problem lists, diagnosis and treatment plans prior to one of our clinicians review.
