Description
We are a hi-volume hospital ~ 75 dogs/cats, 15-20 exotics/avian/other. The student will have exposure to both routine CBP med/surgery cases along with referral patients. We also provide critical care/24 hr monitoring experience. Our facility contains a fully equipped lab, 2 surgery suites (ortho/soft tissue), an ICU room, radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, pulse ox, ETCO2, BP monitors, 24 hour care, etc. We started an internship program in 1998 (our first class had 3 doctors from LSU, OSU, Univ Sask.).

Responsibilities
We are a hi-volume hospital ~ 75 dogs/cats, 15-20 exotics/avian/other. The student will have exposure to both routine CBP med/surgery cases along with referral patients. We also provide critical care/24 hr monitoring experience. The student can expect to see 80-100 cases per week.
Student Supervision
The student will have unlimited access to the veterinarians when spread among the doctors.
Housing
There will be an in-hospital “apartment”.
