Type of Experience:
We offer a rotating externship in small animal practice. We have a variety of specialties to include; Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Critical care and Emergency. We are a 24 hour facility with specialists on staff 6 of 7 days durring the week.
Description Experience:
Christopher J. Monarski, DVM in 2001. Internship SA surgery 2004. Residnecy SA surgery 2005-2008. Four years staff surgeon at VCA ARECA.

Educational Resources Available:
All practical journals are avaialble through online or printed versions in our resource library. We offer daily rounds on all hospitalized cases and weakly journal club/case presentations through the internship program. We have 6-8 interns per year as well as externs.
Responsibilities Expected of Participating Students:
Participate in morning rounds and case discussions witht the various departments. Specialty rounds given every Tuesday.
Student Supervision:
A staff veterinarian or intern will be instructing and interacting with the student though the various specialties.
Is Student Housing Available?:
No. Interns sometimes will allow students to stay with them.
