College of Veterinary Medicine

This is an opportunity for senior veterinary students to learn about the principles and practice of zoo animal medicine and surgery.

Three ACZM board-certified veterinarians, one ACVP board-certified veterinary pathologist

In-house library with basic veterinary journals and books, internet access, monthly radiology rounds

Students are expected to be present Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, to dress professionally and appropriately for the weather, to see cases on the grounds and in the hospital in the company of the veterinarians, and to act in a professional manner.

Students are expected to be at the clinic 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. At least one veterinarian is available at all times.
