Mixed animal practice, including but not limited to equine, large animal, small animal, pocket pets, exotic cats. We have a diverse patient base and a well trained staff that can enhance student's knowledge base and help prepare her for a career in veterinary medicine.

Description Experience:

Routine and orthopedic surgery, client communication, management, laboratory, full body and dental digital Xray, surgical and therapy laser, emergency medicine

Responsibilities Expected of Participating Students:

Assist with taking histories/handling pets
Assist in surgery, running common laboratory tests, dental & full body Xray
Assist on farm calls
Opportunity for observation of exotic animals

Student Supervision:

40+ hours/week
