Introduction to the basics of veterinary ultrasound. Learning is achieved by participating in clinical examinations. The focus is primarily small animal abdominal ultrasound.
Assist ultrasound personnel (faculty, resident, technologist) with daily ultrasound examinations. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with the basics of veterinary ultrasound (physics, normal anatomy, abnormal structures) using available textbooks and pertinent journal articles.
