The rotation is designed to provide exposure to the medical and surgical management of neurological disease in dogs and cats.

Associate Veterinarians and special expertise available

The neurology service is comprised of 4 board certified neurologists and 4 neurology residents in training. In addition, the teaching hospital contains specialists in multiple other disciplines that are available for consultation as needed.

Educational Resources

Student topic rounds are held daily.

Responsibilities

Students will be involved in all aspects of case management. They will assist in patient evaluation, diagnostic workup and treatment, and will be expected to participate in rounds and perform client communication.

Student Supervision

Students will be directly supervised all all times during the rotation, both by house officers and senior faculty.
