caseload will be second opinion and referral internal medicine cases
with subsequent surgical procedures being performed depending on needs.
Also orthopedic cases and surgeries are also represented.

student will be expected to shadow the veterinarians in the exam rooms
during appointment slots. Also emphasis is placed on PE, interpretation
of bloodwork/radiographs/ultrasound/CT/etc, and overall following cases
from beginning to end. The student will also be expected to do a formal round presentation on topic of choice.
8-10 hrs/day. 40-50hrs/week.
