Description
Extern will ride with veterinarians on routine calls and emergencies. In clinic duties (treatments, appointments, etc.) Depending on what year the student is in, the implication will be different (assisting, injections, treatments).

Associate Veterinarians and special expertise available
- A boarded surgeon does one day a month of more specific surgeries.
- A boarded ophtalmologist is available on an on call basis.

Responsibilities

- Be available to help weekend on call/ in hospital cases
Student Supervision
Depends on the time of year... Spring-summer: 10 to 14 hours a day; fall-winter: 8 hours approx. + out of hours emergencies
