College of Veterinary Medicine

Small Animal General Practice with a board certified internist full time and a board certified surgeon 2 days a week. We are located in West Hollywood, CA.

There will be exposure to a large volume of cases in a progressive general practice. The practice is fully equipped with endoscopy, ultrasound, digital X-ray, in house lab, and acupuncture. There are approximately 60-80 cases seen at the hospital every day. We are open from 7 AM to 11 PM weekdays and 8 AM - 8 PM weekends.

We have 9 general practicioners (5 with completed internships), a boarded internist full time, and a boarded surgeon 2 days a week.
We have been AAHA accredited since 1983.

We are interested in students who are eager to learn. We are willing to allow the student (within reason) to tailor the experience to their goals. The choices include shadowing one doctor specifically or multiple doctors throughout the day, improving technical skills including iv catheter placement or blood draws, helping with daily surgeries and dentals, rounding with the hospitalized patients or time with the specialists. There will be an active discussion about the individual cases.
