Responsibilities
Professional attire, promptness, reading ahead of time (day before) for cases for following day; assist in exams (restraint, radiology, phlebotomy, etc). Lab analysis, occasional evening emergency work; possible shelter animal surgeries depending on student performance. One page paper on case seen during externship at Hopi, etc.
Student Supervision
The student will have access to the veterinarians Monday thru Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm and Saturday 8:00 am-3:00 pm.
