Student has an opportunity to work closely with staff specialists, rotating through the different departments or spending their externship with one department depending upon their interests.

- surgery
- internal medicine
- ophthalmology
- dermatology
- cardiology
- oncology
- neurology
- emergency critical care
Educational Resources
- daily rounds
- grand rounds
- journal club held weekly
- monthly CE meetings for local Vet Association held at hospital
Responsibilities
Good attendance, interested students willing to become involved in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the supervision of staff doctors.
Student Supervision
Students will have direct access to veterinarians 7 days a week, at least 12 hours or more each day. We are a 24/7 facility that is staffed by specialists 6 days a week and has staff doctors in the hospital 7 days a week.
