70% clinic hours (routine preventive care, medicine/derm/geriatric care)
30% surgery hours (spay, neuter, dental extractions, some exploratory & tumor removal, other misc.)

- We also rely a lot and consult a lot with Metropolitan Vet Specialists (surgeons, internal medicine & dermatology

- VIN is used everyday, multiple times per day
- JAVMA, Vet Forum, Vet Medicine, Compendium
- Clinicians brief cases discussion and extensive library
Responsibilities
Punctuality and attendance; accompany veterinarian in exam room and assist during surgery; present differential on all cases; anesthesia dosage and choice (veterinarian to supervise)
Student Supervision
6 days a week; app. 4 to 8 hours per day; total 35-40 hours per week; will be given a schedule
