If you are interested, during your 4th year off-site elective experience, we provide a list of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine's previously approved locations.

If you choose not to work at any of the pre-approved sites, please find your own elective location and submit a request for approval through The College of Veterinary Medicine.

Description Experience: Argus Institute Senior Rotation - a two-week elective clinical rotation focusing on client communication and creating a supportive, collaborative and compassionate veterinarian-client-patient relationship.

Description Details Hands on work with real time financial data from privately owned veterinary practice, including profit analysis, fee structure, compensation strategies, practice valuation methodogy. Veterinary practice tax and accounting reporting in accord with US law. Work with Dr. Heinke on various engagements in progress at time of internship, including telephone consultation and data accumulation projects, and structuring education for veterinarians, practice managers, and industry support.
