College of Veterinary Medicine

Experience in a progressive AAHA certified small animal general practice. Students will see cases in dermatology, acupuncture, soft tissue surgery, general wellness exams, cardiac disease, and gastro-intestinal disturbances. We also have otoendoscopy and dental radiology. Students are expected to be hands on in all experiences.

Hours of the clinic are 8am-5:30pm with a lunch hour between 12-2. Good working attitude is desired.

At least 2 veterinarians will be present with the student during working hours. The student can ask questions at any time. Approximately 9 hours per day (4 hours on Saturday) or 50 hours per week.
