Dentistry and oral surgery clinical rotation. The student will join the UW students on a clinical rotation in which the student will help manage the case under the supervision of faculty and residents.
Our Dentistry and Oral Surgery service is made up of two boarded faculty members, three residents and one specialty veterinary technician.
We have an extensive library of dental textbooks, journals and online resources.
Rounds are almost daily with a hands-on laboratory opportunity for students on Fridays.
The student will assume clinical care-client communication, perform physicals, perform dental cleanings, assist with advanced dental procedures, help make post operative treatment plans and assist with follow up. Dental radiograph positioning will also be taught.
8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week
Short term housing opportunities may be coordinated through the Office of Academic Affairs.
