Predominantly small animal practice with 20% large animal. Exposure to all facets of SA general medicine/surgery/emergency care as well as working with non-professional staff (personnel relations & management). We also see many goats, sheep, pleasure horses & hogs, with minimal exposure to dairy & beef cattle.

Responsibilities
Professional, neat (ironed!), clean appearance with good interpersonal skills. The student will have her/his knowledge base assessed by the supervising DVM to determine the student's readiness to see clients (with supervision) and to do surgery.
Student Supervision
We are a 2.5 DVM practice so at least one DVM is on duty six days a week (8:30-6:00).
